We acknowledge and honour that all of the work we do is currently being done on unceded Algonquin Territory that was never given up and never surrendered.
On July 11th, the Government of Ontario announced the repeal of the 2015 update to the Health and Physical Education Curriculum. Instead of an inclusive sex education curriculum, Ontario's students this September will be learning sex education from an outdated curriculum implemented in 1998.
Children and youth deserve access to comprehensive, inclusive evidence-informed sex education. We are holding a rally to send a clear message to Doug Ford and the Ontario government: We will not stand silent as they put the health and well-being of children and youth at risk.
We are calling on the Government of Ontario to re-instate the 2015 update to the Health and Physical Education Curriculum, to ensure our children and youth are equipped with the knowledge they need to make healthy, informed decisions about their sexual health and well-being.
Join us on Sunday, July 15th at 1:00 PM for a rally to Save Sex Ed. We will be gathering at the Human Rights Monument on Elgin Street. Please brings signs!!!!
Speakers List: To-Be-Announced.
The Human Rights Monument is an accessible space.
