Kamloops Women's March 2019

This year, we march again. We march for equality, we march for justice, and we march to inspire activism.

Join us on January 19th in front of Sandman Centre in downtown Kamloops at 10:30am. Several local speakers will kick off the event, sharing about the work they do with women in our community. After the speakers have inspired us, the march will follow. We acknowledge that this event will take place on the traditional and unceded territory of the Tk’emlups te Secwepemc people.

Donations to cover costs of this event are gratefully being accepted. Money will go toward a city permit, supplies, and insurance. All excess donations will be donated to women's empowerment programs at White Buffalo Indigenous Urban Services. If you or your organization is interesting in supporting this event, please contact one of the event hosts.

This event is open to all sexes, races, sexual orientations, and abilities. The March is also wheelchair accessible. We hope to see you there to show your support for equality in Kamloops.
