The Woman to Woman Choir is a community based, feminist choir,
rehearsing and performing in Waterloo Region and Guelph.
Named after the powerful feminist anthem by Carolyn McDade
which says in part, “No woman is required to build the world by
destroying herself,” we believe in social justice issues. This is
apparent in our choice of music, and advocacy efforts. Through our
songs we honour women’s lives, tell our stories, and tell the stories
of our sisters here and throughout the world.
The Choir includes women of all ages, from a wide diversity of
backgrounds, occupations, and experiences. Our commonality is
our love of song; it is our vehicle for discovering our own strengths
and delighting in what we can accomplish collectively.
