Women's March Canada - Sudbury March acknowledges that we march on Robinson-Huron Treaty territory and the land on which we will gather is the traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishnaabeg.
WE MARCH ~ in solidarity with women and human rights groups from across the world we will be marching to show that the progress made in 2017 was not enough. There is still so much work to do to protect and advance the rights of women, and the rights of all vulnerable citizens in our country. If you think 2017 was a loud year for women, well - you ain't seen nothing yet!
We're gathering in the York Street parking lot across from Bell Park and starting to march at 11 a.m. sharp. We're walking the sidewalk along Paris Street over the Bridge of Nations and back. Don't forget to come with a sign and wearing your pink pussyhat! All feminists welcome.
