An Interview with Tanya Hayles #BlackMoms

So excited to talk with Tanya Hayes, founder of Black Moms Connection. What started with 20 mothers in the Greater Toronto Area, has grown to over 10,000 members worldwide, with mothers as far as Japan, Kenya and the Caribbean. Every day, Black women from all walks of life and each corner of the globe, share, network and connect.

It’s time to take our power back. It’s time for our stories.

Born out of Toronto, Black Moms Connection is a global online village and incorporated non-profit providing culturally relevant tools and resources to empower and educate the Black woman. By encouraging mothers to increase the social, emotional, financial and well-being of the Black family– we will positively impact that Black community and the world at large.

Inspiring, uniting and leading the charge for the advancement of women across Canada. Our vision: Making the equality of women in Canada the new norm.
