The work that we do, our vision and values can be explained in a unifying framework called H.E.R.S., which spells out the women’s rights priorities of Health, Economic Security, Representation, and Safety.
Women are powerful drivers of economic growth, and their economic empowerment benefits all nations. Women’s March Canada supports the dismantling of economic barriers that obstruct women’s full and equal access to local, national, and global economic systems.
We are working to:
- map out services for women entrepreneurs across the country, to identify strengths/best practices and to find gaps in services. Our aim to help scale up programs that support women entrepreneurs across the country.
- celebrate women entrepreneurs (including but not limited to, women with disabilities, Indigenous women, women in rural or remote regions, recent immigrants, visible minority women, and women from Official Language Minority Communities (OLMCs)) across the country, tell their stories and help them find the help they need, whether that relates to network, education, and/or mentorship opportunities.
