Women's March Canada - Sandy Cove, Digby Neck March acknowledges that we march in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People.
WE MARCH ~ in solidarity with women and human rights groups from across the world. We will be marching to show that the progress made in 2017 and 2018 was not enough. There is still so much work to do to protect and advance the rights of women, and the rights of all vulnerable citizens in our country.
We invite you to save the date for a timely conversation about women’s issues and practical tools for community organizing and lobbying in Digby Neck.
This year, following the March, we will gather at the Schoolhouse Cafe for lunch, and a talk by Janet Wallace who will share her experiences from her involvement in Los Angeles marches.
