Women Entrepreneurs Survey

Women are powerful drivers of economic growth, and their economic empowerment benefits all nations. Women’s March Canada supports the dismantling of economic barriers that obstruct women’s full and equal access to local, national, and global economic systems.

More women than ever are blazing the entrepreneurial trail: women in Canada more likely to open their own businesses than in any other nation, according to a global report.

“Canada has seen a surge of entrepreneurship in our economy over the last 20 years, and women have been at the forefront, launching businesses at rates that often outpace men,” said Karen Hughes, a professor at the University of Alberta’s Alberta School of Business and Department of Sociology, and author of the 2015/16 biennial Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Canada Report on Women’s Entrepreneurship.

Women's March Canada wants to profile and highlight exceptional women who own their own businesses in Canada. We invite you to complete our survey and describe your business practices and your business’ role in the community.

Please feel free to share this survey with women entrepreneurs you would like to recommend.
