#WomensMarch Representation Twitter Chat

Join us on Twitter for the #WomensMarch Twitter Chat and share your voice!  The week we are partnering with Calgary's Ask Her and Toronto's Women Win TO.  This week’s topic: Women in Politics!

Women are under-represented globally, adversely affecting our collective health, safety, and economic security. Women’s March Canada seeks fair and just representation of women locally, nationally, and internationally.

Use the hashtag #womensmarch and join the conversation about women's health, economic security, representation, and safety (HERS).

What is a Twitter Chat and How does it Work?

A Twitter chat is a live event on Twitter. Participation is open to all and contributions to the discussion can be made via tweets that include a specific hashtag, in our case #WomensMarch. Twitter chats are moderated and focused on a general topic with a guest. We'll be focussing each week on one aspect of the HERS framework. The use of a specific hashtag allows the Twitter chat to be viewed as a single conversation. To find out more about Twitter chats, click here.

Hint: You can use TweetChat.com (we do!) or create a column in Hootsuite or TweetDeck (monitoring #WomensMarch) to follow and contribute to our #WomensMarch chat.

House Rules during the Twitter chat:

Say hello and introduce yourself to the group
Start answers with A1, A2, A3...
End tweets with the hashtag #WomensMarch
Engage, enjoy and play nice!
